| In my first year I participate in an engineering project with the porpuse of designing a portable lifting table for a postoffice magazine.
The most challenging thing was to design the product as strong and stif as possible. This was done by using regulair steel profiles. For designing the portable lifting table me and the members of my group used the program Inventor. To withstand a static force of 5000 Newton I helped to calculate the forces within the lifting table. With these calulations we could optimise weak spots in the table. Calculating the whole table through was a hard puzzle to solve, but eventually I managed to solve it. The last task I did was to create a final render of the design in Inventor. |
